Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair

Qibla Doctor Sahabzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair damat barkat-ahum was born on 18th. Rajb-ul-Murajab, 1373 Hijra in Hyderabad, Sind. After a great desire and prayers, his father Shah Mufti Muhammad Mehmood Alwari was bestowed with this son almost in the last span of his life. That is why, when this news reached to his maternal grand father Mufti-e-Azam Hind Shah Muhammad Mazharullah he was immensely pleased and in a letter to Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Mehmood Alwari stated, “Have I become successful? I am anxiously waiting for the reply. If I am granted of my wish, then the suitable name could only be Muhammad Maqsood but if some other name has been chosen then that’s better”.

On an occasion when his maternal uncle, an expert of Rizviyat Professor Dr. Muhammad Masaud invited him to address an audience said with pride that now after myself I invite the personality who is the wish and desire of Mufti-e-Azam Hind.

Hazrat Sahibzada studied from the beginning to the most important and abstruse books of Uloom-e-Arabia in Ruknul Islam Jamia Mujaddidia under the guidance of his father Hazrat Mufti Sahib who was the authority on both the ulooms (Zahir and Batin). Side by side, Hazrat Sahibzada passed Examinations of Molvi Arabi, Molvi Alim, Fazil and Matric and Intermediate from The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyderabad. He passed B.A. and M.A. from the University of Sind with distinction and so continued to obtain the modern education too. Since Hazrat Mufti Sahib was very well aware of the excitement of knowledge, so he arranged special services of the great scholar and researcher Allama Ashraf syalvi (Damat barkatohum) Who taught him the most difficult books like Hamdallah, and Mebzi.

At Ruknul Islam Jamia Mujaddidya, Hazrat Sahabzada was so delighted and enjoyed the knowledge of Allama Ashraf Syalvi that he thought of the greatness of knowledge in the court of Astaz (Professer) Allama Ata Muhammad Bandyalvi. Thus, the eagerness to get higher knowledge, did not stop him from facing hardship and trouble in going to that far-flung institution. Neither the feeling of being the only son and supporter of the old aged father could produce any fear.

For two consecutive years under the tutelage of the prominent teacher Allama Ataa Muhammad Bandyalvi he studied books Maqulat, Mulla Hassan, Khayali, Mir Zahid, Ghulam Yahiya and the most difficult Mussalamul-suboot. He learned and enlightened himself with the lectures of Allama so deeply that he achieved total authority.

When he started teaching in his institution, students from Lahore, Karachi, Faislabad, Qusoor, Sialkot, Kashmir and Interior Sind come to attend lectures because of the resemblance in style with teacher Ataa Muhammad Bandyalvi and even today whoever is taught by him desires to be taught all the books of Manqool-o-Maqool by him.

Not only that but in the field of writing, he goes on such sophisticate topics like Haq-e-Nabi and Maghferat-e-Zanab. He gave a heap of logical and categorical references from Quran and Sunnah and extracted there from such profound points of thought that convinced the scholars.

Qaid-e-Millat-e-Islamia Allama Shah Ahmed Noorani, Ustazul-Ulama Allama Ataa Muhammad Bandyalvi, the author of the exegesis of Quran justice Pir Karam Shah al-Azhari, the prominent scholar Allama Ashraf syalvi, Allama Hassan Haqqani, Professor Muneeb-ur-Rehman and many other religious scholars not only authenticated and confirmed his research but also prayed to Allah for his safety from the evils of jealous. Especially on the subject of Haq-e-Nabi when Hazrat Sahabzada had a debate with the grandson of Aala Hazrat, Maulana Akhter Raza Khan Barelvi there was hardly any prominent religious scholar in Pakistan who had not verified and confirmed his logics and arguments. Allama Ghulam Rasool Rizvi, Allama Ghulam Ali Okarvi, Maulana Faiz Ahmed Owaisi and Maulana Abu Dawod Sadiq are among them. Similarly, on the issue of Maghfirat-e-Zanab, when the propaganda for announcing him depraved, impendent of Rasool and infidel continued for around ten years, he faced all the propagation with great patience and in an intellectual manner. Allama Shah Ahmed Noorani had said these words, “Sahibzada sahib it is the only special spiritual influence of your ancestors on you that has made you so confident and patient”.

On the issue of debate stated above, the chief monitor Allama Ashraf sayalvi after verifying and confirming said, “Sahibzada Sahib I wish you would have shown this God gifted intelligence and ability on other than the said issue, There by some great work would have been emerged for Ehl-e-Sunnat”. Another writing of his “Video ka Sharaee Hal” (Religious solution on the issue of video) when read by Allama Professor Dr. Tahirul Qadri, appreciated with these words “Qibla Sahibzada Sahib, I am also of the opinion but your points and logics are unmatched”.

And when, he the desire of Mufti-e-Azam Hind and the pride of khwaja Shah Ruknuddin Alwari (r.a.) enters into the field of oratory, he delivers message of righteousness and truth. He remains firm, no matter, if it is Sunni conferences at Minar-e-Pakistan or audiences of millions at Nishter park. International Minhajul Quran Conference at Vemblay Hall(London) or International Conference of Iran. Occasion of Dastar-e-fazilat of Ghezali-e-Zaman(r.a.) of Anwar-ul-Uloom or gatherings of Rajab at Pir jo goth (on special invitation of Pir Sahab Pagaro), sensitive and secrete meetings of the central executive of Mutehda Majlis-e-Amal, Pakistan National Assembly (as being an MNA) or the meetings with the Prime Minister and President of Pakistan.

In short, no matter the congregation is religious or political, meeting of friends or foes it will not be complete without the presence of honorable Qibla Hazrat Sahibzada sahib.

In consideration of his literary personality, glorified family background, sincerity and kindness his leadership is inevitable on every forum or organization whether political or religious including Jamat ahle-sunnat, Jamiat Ulama-e-Pakistan, Tanzeem-ul-Madaris, Mutahida Majlis-e-Amal, Committees for peace and unity or Standing committees. After the demise of Allama Shah Ahmed Noorani for four years leadership vacuum could not be filled until they unanimously agreed upon and gave the reins of leadership into the hands of honorable Qibla Sahibzada sahib. Allah the all mighty, may accept his devotion and grant religious and political rise to Ehle Sunnat wal jamat under his leadership (Ameen).

Along with all these extremely busy schedules, in the year 1993 he could wrote a marvelous research thesis on “Soofya-e-Naqshbund of Sind” he was awarded Doctorate(PHD) the highest worldly degree. Similarly, he secured the highest position of spiritual world i.e. Ijazat-o-Khilafat from the companionship of his respected father. Who had received this elite position from his father and murshid-e-Aala Hazrat Shah Muhammad Ruknuddin Alwari just few hours before his death, while saying, “Now, it is being said from the Holy Prophet(PBUH) to all the Olya-e-Karam (Saints) that don’t delay in Ijazat-o-Khilafat to Maulvi Mehmood”. In view of his such spiritual heights and references the renowned and most authentic personality of Arab-o-Ajam Allama Syed Muhammad Alvi Malki gave him with great love and kindness Ijazat, of Maqoolat, Manqoolat and all the Spiritual hierarchies which were specially granted to Allama Sahib in succession from Saints and exegeses of Quran and Sunnah. Like wise, the Sajada Nashein, Murshid Khana of Aala Hazrat Ahmed Raza Khan Brailvi, Noorya Barkatya Marharera Sharif(India) Hazrat Qibla Syed Muhammad Yahya Hassan Qadri Barkati has also permitted Ijazat of 16 spiritual hierarchies, with great honor and respect. This is the reason Hazrat Qibla Sahabzada Sahib pays inland and offshore visits, for the guidance of millions of spiritual followers, spread all over the world, despite his busy Religious and Political engagements at home also regardless of angioplasty he recently went through. May Allah the almighty give him a long life with health and prosperity. (Ameen)
